What's included
Planning call (up to 20 minutes), preparation, the agreed program, Q&A, a digital activity sheet or educator handout, and signing within package time. Physical books are purchased separately. Hosts provide printed handouts and basic activity supplies.

Plan a Larger Visit
Bring Daphne to multiple groups with a half-day or full-day program. Larger assemblies, festivals, keynote talks, and multiple venues receive a custom quote.

Up to four 45-minute sessions and 45 minutes of signing within a six-hour window, including breaks and lunch.
Before You Request a Visit
Travel & availability
Travel within 25 driving miles of Daphne's confirmed departure location is included, excluding approved parking and tolls. Longer-distance travel is quoted separately. Departure city and service area will be confirmed before launch.
Signed & bulk books
Signed copies and bulk orders are available separately. Prices vary by title; eligible bulk discounts are quoted individually. Please request books at least four weeks ahead, or six weeks for 100+ copies.
Plan ahead
Suggested lead times: local visits 6-8 weeks; travel visits 8-12 weeks; virtual visits 2-4 weeks. All dates are subject to availability.
Booking & payment
Submit your request to receive a personalized quote. A date is confirmed with a signed agreement and 50% program deposit, or an approved institutional payment exception. Standard balances are due 14 days before the event.
Discounts & custom requests
Ask about a proposed 10% program discount for returning hosts, qualifying Title I schools, and nonprofit literacy programs. Additional sessions, special craft kits, and larger audiences can be quoted.
