Daphne holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Alcorn State University and a Master’s in Public Health from Meharry Medical College. A proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and The Links, Inc., she spent 34 years as a healthcare administrator before stepping out on faith to pursue her passion for storytelling full-time. Her debut book, ABCs of Love, reached #1 on Amazon’s early childhood curriculum list, and she continues to enchant readers with her imaginative tales, including those inspired by her personal journey and vibrant faith.

Beyond her books, Daphne is a motivational speaker and writer of the insightful weekly series “Bedside Baptist,” blending creativity and encouragement to uplift others. When she’s not crafting captivating stories, she enjoys reading, playing the piano, and traveling with her sweetheart Stanfort, with whom she shares two children, Janna and Chandler.
